By train
From Santa Maria Novella Station (S.M.N.), you walk to the hotel in about fifteen minutes. Alternatively, take a taxi or bus No. 1.
By plane
From Florence's airport: take the bus to S.M.N. station.
From Pisa's airport: take the train or shuttle to S. M. N. station.
By car
From the north (Firenze Nord) head towards the center/station and continue to Porta a Prato. Continue to Ponte alla Vittoria, cross the bridge and after you take the roundabout, get onto the Lungarno. The hotel is at Lungarno Vespucci No. 50.
From the south (Firenze Sud) go towards Porta a Prato and then Ponte alla Vittoria, take the roundabout and get onto the Lungarno.
Cascine Park
Alternatively there is an enchanting itinerary in the great open air museum that is Florence. There is nothing better than a relaxing walk in nature: Cascine Park, near Hotel Consigli, is the largest public garden in Florence. You can reach it by bus or by taking a pleasant walk along the Arno. Conserving the name of cascina, or dairy farm, due to its original agricultural use by the Florentine Medici family, this large green area is currently home to numerous athletic facilities and is the destination of many cyclists and runners in search of space to relax and exercise in the open air.
